iPads are used as a learning device across the school, with both school-owned and Personally Owned Devices. Their use is embedded within the curriculum across many learning areas.
The school is working towards embedding a one-to-one digital device plan. Students in Year 3 to 6 are encouraged to bring their Personally Owned Devices (at this stage only iPads) to school for educational use. Students need to complete the ‘MHSS Acceptable Use Policy' and 'MHSS eLearning BYOx Charter' document below to obtain approval to bring in and use their device at school.
Students in Prep to Year 2 will have access to eLearning opportunities using devices provided by the school and include using some of the core apps as well.
We encourage all students in Years 3 to 6 to be part of our BYOx Program.
The Core iPad App List below lists apps recommended for all students’ personally owned iPads. Where possible we have selected free apps, to keep costs to a minimum.
We ask that no iPads come to school until after all agreement forms have been completed and students have had their school usernames and passwords set up.
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Annette Vlaanderen, eLearning Coordinator,
