At Musgrave Hill State School we value many forms of literacy. Students are encouraged to use the Library regularly. The centre is opened from 8.15 am until 3.00 pm. In addition, it is opened at both recess times for student use.
Classes visit the Library weekly for library borrowing. In addition, students may borrow at recess times. Parents are encouraged to visit the Centre with their children so that they can both participate in the selection of books.
Reading with or to your child is a valuable experience that facilitates learning. Please encourage your child to borrow books, as often as daily if desired.
Information Literacy skills are essential in today's technological society. In addition to print media such as books and encyclopedias, digital media is a valuable resource for students to access and interpret information.
Students from the Early Years and Junior Stage require a Library bag in order to borrow books.
