At Musgrave State School, we are proud to partner with our community through the Active School Travel Program, encouraging students and families to choose safe, healthy and sustainable ways to travel to and from school. Whether walking, riding, scooting, catching public transport, or participating in a Park and Stride journey, our school community is working together to promote active lifestyles and safer school travel.
Through our involvement in the program, students develop greater independence, road safety awareness, and healthy habits that support both wellbeing and learning. To celebrate and encourage participation, Musgrave State School hosts termly Healthy Breakfast events, and have opportunities throughout the year to receive prizes that recognise and reward their active travel efforts. By working in partnership with families and the wider community, we are helping students build confidence, resilience and positive lifelong habits while caring for our environment. Through the Active School Travel Program, Musgrave State School is fostering a culture of health, wellbeing, and community connection - one journey at a time.
